Amphion "Class A" Power AmplifierThe easy to listen to “Class A” sound of Amphion has seen its popularity soar over the last few years.

Music lovers agree that this amplifier offers the kind of performance that leaves music untainted and provides enough dynamic power to satisfy the most demanding requirements.

CR  was one of the first companies to recognise the unique properties of the 6C33C tube.
It has subsequently become one of the most favoured output devices in the world of High-End Hi-Fi and combined with the excellent circuit design topography of Amphion, leaves nothing to be desired in terms of open sound and clarity.

The amplifier will work well with loudspeakers that have reasonable sensitivities and will not require horn-loaded cabinets to achieve realistic listening levels; although where horn loaded types are preferred, excellent results are assured.

The input is at line level with a volume control included for direct use with a CD player or other source. As with many of CR’s products, a ground lift switch is provided which will often help to eliminate noise when the amplifier is connected to other equipment.
Both 4 and 8 ohm output impedance terminations ensure perfect matching with the loudspeaker load.

The stainless steel panels and high-gloss black finish of this amplifier is easy to keep clean, leaving the amplifier looking attractive in any studio or domestic setting.
