Kalypso offers the quality, style and price that has brought
valve amplification to a new audience of discerning listeners.
The amplifier's smooth and effortless sound delivery and its ability
to drive unspecialised loudspeakers has enabled the desirable
upgrade to valve amplification for many audio enthusiasts. This
amplifier never fails to excite new listeners, and is providing
pleasure to thousands of people throughout the world.
Technically
Kalypso has the edge over many products sold at twice its price!
Toroidal transformers are used throughout, as they are in the
entire CR product range.
The low leakage inductance inherent in
this technology has brought extensive benefits to all the amplifiers,
leaving them with an excellent frequency response and low distortion.
Kalypso is an integrated amplifier with five switchable inputs.
It has a conservatively rated 15 watts output which provides sufficient
drive for many loudspeakers. Kalypsos appearance is stylish,
with stainless steel panels and high-gloss black chassis, normally
synonymous with amplifiers three or four times its price.
Matched
with a good music source it will never fail to please the ear.
