CR Electronic Design

The CR range of solid-state amplifiers have always offered high power delivery 
and minimalist yet attractive styling.

CR200 combines the traditional CR solid state electronics with  styling clues taken from the Woodham CD player and pre-amplifier. The CR200 can be used as an integrated or as a power amplifier this allows the customer the opportunity to mix CR's tube and transistor electronics if required in a pre power combinations.

Remote control of volume and selection of the 5 line level  inputs is included and front panel controls provide manual control if required.  Volume control is a close tolerance “Alps” motorised potentiometer, with accurate  channel tracking throughout the full range.  

Discrete transistors are used throughout  CR200 and the output stage uses parallel connected high current bi-polar power transistors to provide high peak and continuous output power for   effortless delivery even into difficult speaker loads.  

Pre-amp output and power amp input RCA's makes the CR200 a versatile amplifier which can be used in pre-power combinations with our tube pre-amplifiers combining the warm smooth tube sound with high power to drive low efficiency loud speakers.
